We aim to provide excellence in care at an affordable rate for our patients. Our fees are based on The Australian Medical Association (AMA) fee structures and are displayed in our reception area.
These fees are usually discounted for multiple visits or when more than one member of the family attends for the same condition.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, Mastercard or Visa.
This practice offers bulk billing to patients who are considered by the Government to be disadvantaged eg Pensioner Concession Card holders and Health Care Card holders. Please let the receptionist know if you have recently received a concession card so that the details can be added to our system. Normally concession cards are valid to a certain date so please remember to let us know if you card or any of the details change. Valid cards must be presented when requested.
We also bulk bill children attending the Baby Clinic for Government scheduled vaccinations.
Bulk billing concession is applicable during the hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Outside of these hours our standard consultation rates apply.
Home visits are generally not bulk billed however the treating doctor may bulk bill you at their discretion.
Claiming Your Medicare Rebate
In most instances paid accounts can be electronically submitted to Medicare on your behalf.
Please note that sometimes this is not possible due to circumstances outside our control. Where this happens our staff will usually recommend that you submit the account to Medicare to obtain your rebate.
