Dr Gregory Beaver

Practice Principal - Retiring June 2017

Dr Beaver is our longest serving Doctor and has been consulting in the Western Suburbs for over 50 years. Dr Beaver retired from General Practice in December 2015, however he  continues to consult in our Skin Cancer Clinic.  Dr Beaver maintains his interest in General Practice by occasionally assisting in the General Practice on an ad-hoc basis.

Greg has a wealth of experience in all areas of medicine and has a special interest in skin and cosmetic medicine. He is one of our fixtures and is greatly loved by staff and patients alike!

In his sparetime Greg enjoys playing golf and travelling.

Dr Richard Johns

Practice Principal

Dr Johns is our second longest serving doctor. After graduating in Queensland in 1980, he worked for several years in hospitals and various general practices before settling into fulltime practice with us in 1985. 

Richard consults primarily in our Skin Cancer Clinic and his special interest is skin cancer detection, treatment and prevention with a focus on achieving the best cosmetic results for our patients.  He is available for consultations Tuesday to Friday.

Dr Johns is also a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and is also a regular participant in courses and training with the College as a speaker/presenter or lecturer/tutor.

Dr Candice Beaven

Doctor - Skin Cancer Clinic 

** Currently on Maternity Leave - due to return to our General Practice late 2017 **

Dr Beaven joined our practice in January 2011 with a special interest in skin cancer medicine, women’s health, antenatal/postnatal care, sexual health and travel medicine.  In October 2014 Candice decided to concentrate on skin cancer medicine and now only consults in our dedicated Skin Cancer Clinic.  Her additional training in skin cancer diagnosis and management has seen Candice develop into an experienced skin cancer doctor.  Candice is available for skin checks Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  She also offers appointments every 2nd Saturday morning.

Graduating from the University of Qld in 2005, Candice attained her Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of GPs in 2010.

Dr Nicholas Bourke

Practice Principal - General Practice

Dr Nicholas Bourke joined our practice in late January 2011, becoming a practice principal in 2016. Nick enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has particular interest in paediatrics, skin, men’s health checks and emergency medicine. 

After completing Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2000, he went on to study Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, both at the University of Queensland.  He completed his internship, and several resident years at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, worked in the Mater Children’s Emergency Department for a brief period, and for four years in the Queen Elizabeth II Emergency Department. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011.

Nick is available five days a week starting at 8am each morning, and until 7pm on Tuesdays.  He participates in our weekend roster, out of hours on call roster, and attends both nursing home patients and home visits (both by prior arrangement only).

He has an educational role at the clinic in the supervision of medical students, and General Practice training Registrars.

He is the father of 3 young girls and is a local to Kenmore having grown up in the area.   He attended Kenmore South State School, and St Peters Lutheran College.   When away from Kenmore Clincs he enjoys camping with his family and the outdoors.

Dr Melissa Gilbert

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Gilbert joined Kenmore Clinics in May 2010 before taking time off to welcome a new addition to her family.  Since then Melissa has extended her family returning from a second maternity leave period in January 2014. 

Melissa consults on a part-time basis (Monday and Tuesdays).  She has many years experience performing circumcisions and tongue-tie divisions (upper and lowe) and has a special interest in postnatal care.

Dr Louisa Gilles

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Gilles has practiced at Kenmore Clinics since August 2007.  She enjoys all aspects of family medicine with a special interest in travel medicine, women’s and children’s health and preventative medicine.  She enjoys caring for people with complex health needs.  She provides shared antenatal care and has accreditation to share care at Mater Hospital.

Louisa graduated from the University of Queensland in 2001 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.  She also has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  A mother of two primary school aged children, Dr Gilles currently consults on a part-time basis and also participates in our weekend roster.  She works on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with after school appointments available on Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Ravinder (Ravi) Gornall

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Gornall joined our practice in January, 2015 as a GP Registrar.  She attained Fellowship of the RACGP in 2016.  She enjoys a wide range of general practice issues and has a special interest in minor surgery, paediatrics and womens health.  She recently complated her Diploma in Child Health.

Dr Gornall is a wife and mother to two and consults on a part-time basis.  She currently consults on Monday and Wednesday and is available for late appointments on Monday evenings.  Dr Gornall also works extra Saturday mornings to provide weekend appointments for routine matters.

Dr. Fabian Jaramillo

Doctor – General Practice

Dr Jaramillo or Dr Fabian as he prefers joined our practice in February, 2016. Dr Fabian obtained his medical degree in Colombia in 2004 before migrating to Australia with his wife in 2007. Since his arrival in Australia he has worked in a variety of practices throughout Queensland gaining a wealth of experience in a wide range of general practice issues. Dr Fabian is an Australian citizen, lives locally and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice and offers routine appointments on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Dr Preeti Khera

Doctor – General Practice

Dr Khera joined our practice in March, 2016. Dr Khera is a UK trained doctor who moved to Brisbane with her husband in 2013. She is a fellow of the RACGP and has a special interest in women’s health being trained and competent to insert long acting reversible contraceptive devices eg Implanon and Mirena. She also enjoys all other aspects of general practice. Initially Dr Khera will consult on a part-time basis generally being available on Tuesdays, Thursday and Friday afternoons.  Dr Khera also works Thursday evenings and extra Saturday mornings.

Dr Claire Laister

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Laister joined us in February, 2007. Graduating from the University of Queensland in 1981 she interned at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.  Claire then gained extensive experience working in various Sydney general practices for 10 years. 

Claire enjoys all aspects of general practice and consults Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  She also participates in the weekend roster.

Dr Mike Levy

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Levy has been practicing with us since January 2010 after moving from London to Australia with his family in 2008. Mike has a special interest in Men’s Health, Cardiology, Psychology and Children’s Health.  Mike encourages men to take control of their health issues and offers a comprehensive Healthy Men’s Check to patients.  In addition Dr Levy is proficient in circumcision for baby boys and also well trained and experienced in vasectomy for men.

Mike graduated from University College of London in 1993 after having moved to London from South Africa. Mike is available most days of the week and available for late appointments Wednesday evenings. He participates in our weekend roster.

Dr Tiffany Litvine

Doctor – Skin Cancer Clinic

Dr Tiffany Litvine joined our skin cancer clinic in May 2016. Dr Litvine is well travelled having lived in the US, Belgium and Ireland to name a few. She obtained her medical degree in Ireland in 2009 and has lived in Australia now for a few years working in a variety of city and country practices. She has a passion for skin cancer and has completed additional training in skin cancer diagnosis and management. Dr Litvine is also qualified and experienced with cosmetic injectables. She speaks fluent French and basic Dutch and Spanish. Initially Dr Litvine will consult in our Skin Cancer Clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays, working extra sessions including Saturday mornings when needed.

Dr Gillian McSweeney

Doctor – General Practice

Dr Gillian McSweeney returned to our practice in June 2017 after returning from the UK with her husband and young son. Dr McSweeney previously worked at our clinic as a GP Registrar in 2014 before attaining her RACGP fellowship and we are delighted to have her back with us.  Dr McSweeney will initially consult Monday and Wednesday mornings.

Dr Jaclyn (Jackie) Montefiore

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Montefiore joined our practice in January 2016 as a GP Registrar. She is currently studying for her RACGP Fellowship. She enjoys a wide range of general practice issues and has a special interest in preventative health, women’s health, child health and geriatrics.

Jackie has returned from maternity leave (May 2017) and will consult on a part-time basis working Monday and Friday and every Saturday morning until further notice.

Dr Bruce Moore

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Moore graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1978, then completed additional training in Obstetrics and Anesthetics in the UK. 

Bruce spent 25 years working in general practice in the Albury/Wodonga area before moving to Brisbane and joining our Practice in 2007.

Bruce consults on a part-time basis and is generally available each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Matthew O'Sullivan

Doctor - Skin Cancer Clinic

Dr O'Sullivan joined our Skin Cancer Clinic team in 2014 consulting on a part-time basis performing skin checks and procedures.  He has completed several additional training courses on skin cancer diagnosis and management.  Matthew currently consults at our skin clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays.  He also works Wednesday evenings to provide skin check appointments to patients who may find it difficult to attend during business hours.

Dr Vicki Robinson

Doctor - General Practice

Dr Robinson joined our practice in January, 2013 after operating her solo practice from Kenmore Village for many years.  Vicki brings with her a wealth of experience in general practice.

Vicki enjoys all aspects of general practice and devotes her time to taking care of her existing patients.  Regretfully Vicki does not generally see new patients unless they are family of existing patients.  She participates in our weekend roster.

Fiona Edgecombe

Clinical Manager

Fiona is a qualified Registered Nurse who has worked at the practice since 2002.  Fiona has a wealth of experience from training and working in Australian and UK hospitals and clinics. 

Fiona grew up in the Kenmore area so knows many of our patients on a personal basis.  She dedicates her time to ensuring the practice runs smoothly and patients are made feel welcome and treated to the best of our ability.

Kerry Emery

Administration Manager

Kerry has been associated with the practice since July 2000 and moved into the Administration Manager role in November 2006. 

Kerry’s primary task in the practice management role is administration.  She assists staff and patients wherever possible to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
