Information for Patients

We use an appointment system and we recognise our patients are busy and don’t want to wait longer than they have to. Therefore, every effort is made to minimise waiting times. 

Appointments can be made several ways; by telephoning our reception staff during business hours or by utilising our mobile online appointment system via HotDoc (iPhone and Android compatible).

We will also endeavour to remind patients of future appointments via SMS messaging.  Should you not wish to receive SMS appointment reminders please let the reception staff know.

Please note booking, changing or cancellation of appointments will not be accessible via email.

Email Requests

The following requests will nt be accessible via email 

  • Pathology and imaging reports
  • Booking, changing or cancelling appointments
  • Requesting prescriptions, referrals or other documents from one of our GP's (unless it has been discussed during an appointment with a GP)


A standard consultation is 10 minutes and is for a simple/routine problem.  When you make an appointment, it would help if you could describe the reasons for your visit. If you think you need a full check-up or if you have a complex problem or a procedure, you may need a longer consultation. 

Opening Hours

While our clinic is open 7 days a week, our Doctors consult on different days. Whilst we encourage continuity of care, please realise that your regular Doctor may not be available each day. Rest assured your medical records are accessible by all of our doctors to ensure you receive the best care and follow-up possible.

Urgent Cases ARE Prioritized

Emergency and seriously ill patients are given priority and we apologise for the occasional delay in appointment times that can result in accommodating such patients.  We ask for your patience during these times.  Our reception staff may ask you if you are happy to see an alternative doctor if an excessive delay is anticipated.

After Hours

For emergencies outside normal opening hours a Doctor from this practice may be contacted by phoning the surgery number - 3363 1600.  Regretfully we cannot provide this service for patients that do not normally attend this practice.

Your medical information is completely confidential.  We maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

If you require a copy or any part of your medical records it is the policy of this Practice that an appointment to see your regular doctor is required.

We routinely send SMS texts for appointments or routine health reminders - you can opt out of this service at any time.  We use HotDoc for our text reminders - HotDoc take patient data privacy very seriously and have issued a patient privacy statement which you can read here - HotDoc Privacy Statement
