Medical Receptionist | Casual

Kenmore Clinics is looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis (approx. 20-25 hours).
We’re a busy general practice that values quality patient care, teamwork and creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. We’re looking for someone who shares these values, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive healthcare team.
What you’ll be doing
- Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional and compassionate service.
- Managing incoming calls, patient enquiries and outgoing calls.
- Scheduling appointments and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using Best Practice medical software.
- Processing patient information and completing general administrative duties.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures and keeping reception running efficiently.
- Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses, fellow receptionists and management.
What we’re looking for
- Previous medical reception experience in a general practice setting is preferred.
- Experience using Best Practice (or other medical software) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a genuine focus on patient care.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and respect for patient confidentiality.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
