Covid-19 Vaccines

Kenmore Respiratory Clinic is pleased to advise that we are an approved vaccination provider for AstraZeneca & Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines. We are happy to help provide COVID-19 immunisation for Kenmore Clinics patients and the wider community.

To find out if you are eligible to receive the vaccine now, visit https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker.

You can book online via our website and Hotdoc, however these appointments are limited.  You can also call us on 3363 1699 to book your appointments.

We request your patience as the vaccinations begin due to most clinics only being allocated minimal stock initially.

These vaccination clinics will be for Covid-19 vaccines only. We will be unable to provide scripts, referrals or consultations at the same time.

If you have any questions regarding the vaccines please make an appointment with your GP.

Please note Covid-19 vaccines need to be separated from other vaccines by at least 7 days.

If you don’t have online access to make appointment bookings or have trouble booking please ring our receptionists on 3363 1699.  Online bookings are preferable to ensure phone lines and receptionists don’t become overwhelmed.

Telehealth

As of the 1st October 2020, Medicare has amended the rules regarding Telehealth consultations; and as such we will not be offering fully bulk-billed telehealth services after September 30th.

We will continue to offer telehealth services, however please note in some circumstances the doctor may ask for you to come in to the clinic.

Telehealth appointment fees will be in line with our standard face-to-face appointments and rebates do apply as long as you have been in for a face-to-face appointment in the past 12 months.

As usual all billing is at the discretion of our doctors. We will continue to bulk-bill Pensioners and Health Care Card holders during standard business hours.

All patients not eligible to be bulk-billed will be required to pay the full private fee on the day of a telehealth appointment just as they would for a face-to-face appointment.

Visit Our Doctors in Kenmore

The original family medical practice in Kenmore, we have been providing excellence in medical care to families and local residents for over 50 years. Dr Beaver and Dr Johns have practiced in the area for many years and although Dr Beaver has recently retired, the practice has a team of 14 qualified General Practitioners who offer expertise in a wide range of services.  Because we have been in the area for such a long time we are privileged to now be looking after the children and grandchildren of our first patients.  We are a very well equipped practice with operating theatres for minor surgical procedures, nurses for dressings and immunisations as well as visiting allied health specialists.

Kenmore Clinics can usually accomodate same day appointments most days for our regular and new patients.  We are open 7 days a week (mornings on weekends and public holidays), late nights till 7:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and have experienced male and female doctors.  Click any of the buttons below for more information about the services we offer!
