SKIN CANCER CLINIC

Are you overdue your skin check? The silly season is almost here. Before you forget, book your skin check.

Kenmore Clinics has a dedicated Skin Cancer Clinic. The skin cancer doctors have extensive training in the prevention, detection and treatment of skin cancers. Detecting skin cancer early can significantly reduce the risk of complications and even save lives.

No referral is required for a skin check, you can simply make a booking with one of our male or female doctors online or call the practice 07 3363 1600.

The latest doctors to join the skin clinic are Dr Andrew Brunton & Dr Melissa Gilbert.

MY MEDICARE

Our practice is participating in the new MyMedicare initiative, which from 1st October 2023 allows patients to register with a preferred practice to access additional Medicare benefits such as longer telehealth appointments and chronic disease care items.

The MyMedicare model aims to strengthen the relationship between patients, their GP and primary care teams. Evidence shows that seeing the same GP and health care team regularly improves health outcomes. All Australians are encouraged to register with MyMedicare to reinforce their relationship with their regular practice and GP.

IMMUNISATION CLINIC

Our Immunisation Clinic is run by our experienced and qualified Child Health Nurses Christine & Alicia on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday & Thursday mornings.

During these clinic times we offer a variety of services.

Appointments for weigh and measures are free. Our Child Health Nurses can also offer advice on feeding, development and post-natal issues that may be of concern.

Government scheduled vaccinations are conducted at these clinics and the service is bulk billed to Medicare card holders.

Non-Medicare card holders are charged the equivalent Medicare Schedule rate.

Adolescent immunisations are offered to those who miss their scheduled school-based immunisations. Adult immunisations can also be booked in to our immunisation clinic for vaccinations such as Covid-19, flu & shingles. Please contact reception on 3363 1600 for appointments as not all can be booked via Hotdoc.
